Originally released in 1970 as VRL604 on Vroommm Records label.

A really unique blend of different retro library styles. There's the silly-but-fun opening track sounding like the intro to some old children's cartoon, strangely followed by an interesting 5-minute drone piece which is later reprised, then later a couple very pretty vocal pieces (featuring soon-to-be-wife Daniela Casa), and some engaging funk tracks. Best of those is "Contropiede", with a deep groove and some scorching electric guitar (also by an uncredited Casa).
It's evocative seventies music which brings something unexpected and punchy - Like the ball on the cover, about to pop out and hit you in the face!
